I've heard that the D0 stepping prescotts have a LOT of OC potential; now that they have been offically released I am really curious to see people's results. Please include MB, and method of cooling.

On a small side note, macci can u still use 478 HSF's with 775 (bolt down of course)? For example can u screw in a SP-94 into a 775 board, or are the holes moved around a bit?

And yea I was wondering how well the new D0's oc'ed as well.

i have a SL7E5 3.2DO coming but will be a week or 2.
hard as hell to find in the usa tho.
a few of us at oc.com forums have hit a small supply of 3.0E DO's and they should have them this weekend.

dont be looking at sandra for results.

look at 3dmark and super pi for the results.

you would be correct at 3.4ghz and under tho,the prescotts start beating the c chips at that point.

SuperPi 1M @ 4001MHz macci, how do u plan to insulate the LGA 'socket' when using subzero cooling.

it seems like it might prove to be difficult

i "played" with an LGA775 socket earlier today at fry's. I actaully unintentionally bent pins by barely running my finger over the socket. Very fragile indeed.

a few 3.4DO's on ebay, but dont take their word for it asim finding sellers on ebay are dumbass's about knowing if the stepping is correct or not.

http://search-desc.ebay.com/SL7E6_Computers-Networking_W0QQfromZC3QQsacategoryZ58058QQsosortor derZ1QQsosortpropertyZ1QQsotextsearchedZ2

they are almost impossible to find in the states tho.

They moved the holes so s478 mounting stuff wont work on 775.
Just installed a zalman waterblock on this thing with zip ties :D

it ran superpi 1m at 4303Mhz with ~0C water
