WELCOME TO XTREMESYSTEMS, hope you enjoy your stay.

I would get an athlon fx-53 939 with an A8V deluxe. For mem, since bh-5 is hard to find now you might want to try out the corsair XML memory. Runs at a 2,2,2,5 @ 400 or 2.5,3,3,8@ 500 from what I read. For video card, get an ATI X800XT. Raptors are great, i use one with no problem. If you want real hdd performance get 2 36.7gb raptors and RAID them. You also need to look into a good PSU, get a PC Power & Cooling or TTGI Superflower. After all that, you need to think about cooling. You should try to find yourself a good watercooling setup or a Promie.

Hope this helps a little

P.S. The above rig would be one hell of a gamer if you can afford it. I know thats exactly what I would buy if I had the money.

i say what he said, but get OCZ EB pc3700

and check out the lian-li v1000 case, looks real nice

try and find a prommy mach1 used, and regas it with r507 or r404a for cpu cooling

yeah, id also say get a phase change unit and instead of a x800xt i would get a x800pro. the x800pro cards cost a lot less and perform almost the same as x800xt cards as they both max out at almost the same clockspeeds when overclocked. and theres even a chance that your card can be modded and will work with 16 pipes...
