does this chipset have any longterm future other than fx53 & the high end athlon64 chips? the fx53 looks very nice.......

yepp, the well built boards (with a good power circuity) will even support amds upcomming dual core cpus in mid 2005!

there are already dual core 939 chips out there, but the final decision whether there will be 939 dual core chips or not is not made yet. but im pretty sure that there will be 939 dual core chips.

The 939sk will be mainstream. 754 will move to budget and 940 will remain sever.
