I'm watercooling a A643000+ newcastle w/ PC3200 OCZ on a K8N Pro mobo.
I have several combinations of clocks I achieved and I'm asking for your opinion as to which is better:
Currently I am running the system at 2.4ghz 600mhz HTT and 400mhz mem. Vcore is at a low 1.6V and temps are perfectly fine. What really itches me is that this is 200mhz under my highest overclock, however my system needs to be crippled before it can attain it.
So far I found my highest stable overclock to be ~2.6ghz but it requires a maximum 1.7V. Since my memory does not like anything above 400mhz, I have to choose the 3:4 divider which only gives me 390mhz for mem. What's worse is that my HTT needs to be 2x multi so only an effective clock of 520mhz..
So should I keep a 2.4ghz computer or will the 200 extra mhz outweigh the reduction in both mem clock and HTT clock?
Any other suggestions guys?
Thanks
