View Full Version : DFI VDD and VDim mod to get high mem oc (links needed)

anything that i can find has nothing to do with the DFI mod...i need the type (ohms) of the resistors and so on pics would b great....i need it step by step as this is my only boards besides a :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:ty KT600 and a :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:TY KT333R so i want to get this right....
If it helps i want around 2.2 VDD and 3.7 Vdim...(i will be using VR so i can change it)
Any help will b great :toast: :D
I will post back with results after i test them out full system specs in sig as now stands.

Well, I know you meant DFI Infinity (sig)..... But you should indicate what mobo. Cuz DFI has a crap load of boards.

Be sure you have pretty good NB cooling, and certainly have a fan blowing on those dimms if you plan on 3.7v Vdimm man .
Your NB will be extra crispy without good cooling.

Yeah it is cooled with the stock NB cooler lapped up real nice and put on with AS5 i then have a Thermal Take blower on 15volts (LOUD AS HELL!!) but it works VERY well and i gaind about 9mhz oc over my stock oc without the "mods" done to the NB hs. And there will b a fan on the dim worry not. I am making a HS for them also tonight. taking off the heat spreader which i have on with AS5 (works much better then that TIM pad yet u must b carefull as it is conductive) I am going to buchture a small hs and then use a home made mount them on the mem with AS5....so it looks like i have my work cut out for me tonight.....

You can try to see if vdd mod will help you. Most likely it won't.
