Hi fellow LS owners :)

I need all you Vapo LS owners to do me a small but important favour:

Immediately upon cold booting your system please start the WinCC and let it run for about 40 minutes (idle or at surf load) and post a WinCC log graph screenshot here in this thread.

Also please write the ambient temperature and follow these procedures:

1) Fan speeds at 30%
2) Boot temp at -10°C
3) Start WinCC logging every second

If you made any mods to the unit please write which.

I hope it’s not asking too much :)

PS: For those of you not familiar with making screenshots: With the WinCC log graph on the screen press the Alt Gr and Prt Scr keys. Then open your favourite picture editing tool (for example ACDSee) and press the Ctrl and V keys and save the screenshot.

My own log graph looks like this:

how could you hate USB? I think its fantastic, only 1 IRQ, high speeds, hot swapability, plug and play compatability. Whats not to like?

Are all you Vapo LS owners running your rigs 24/7 never cold booting or am I asking too much?

What did you change them for?
How much difference has it made?
(sorry for thread hijack)

G No prob - it keeps the thread on top and the question is not irrelevant :)

pkrew: Could you do the test anyway, next time you have the time for it?

I have a Delta 150 cfm fan on both the exhaust and the condensor and have them both on a separate controller. Haven't had much of an opportunity to test it as my mb died, but will test some more in the next few days. From the short time I ran it, it appeared that I gained 2C at idle and the temps stayed lower after a couple of hours of load.
