Hi cpulloverclock:toast:

Last week I downloaded 2003server 32 bit and
2003server 64Bit AMD.

yesteday I installed the 2003 32 bit, its work fine. Pre-results:
 might be a bit faster, only tried pifast low(:D) settings 3152 Mhz drop under 40. With XP sp1 and Win2000 it was a bit over 40

The 2003 bit64 don't work for now. It can only be installed from the boot-CD I have made. It make some adress error, when the first screen comes up. It might be some settings in SK8V bios??
There might also be a problem with ATI card driver (64 bit??) I think we have to use nVidia.

I will go for the 32M with the 2003 son, and work on the 64bit AMD.

Yesteday got 2 new stik og corsair. Its the new version 1.1
Already tried they, can go 2-5-2-2:D

I have also tried 4 x 512 Mb but that is 2-3-6-2

Have to test some more, 4 is more onstable as 2.
In about 2 weeks, my final Cascade-cooler is finich. It's only the prototype I'm using as this point.

The Final (18.18 PC 115C) can take 15-20% more load and a little better in temp. [2 18 cubik compressors working temp -115C]
It will help in 32M I think, it will bench at 3152-3200 but in M8 win-XP is still faster (3186 Mhz)
The 64 bit can do M8 5.05-5.06 at 3133-3152 Mhz but is not stable beon that.

Now the 3D work in server 2003 32 bit, but it is to slow only 100 in car high. Same settings in win2000 give 162!!

Another dutch guy, Petervandamned, crancked his 3400+ up till 2770MHz on some outrages aircooling.

If you have old results you noticed in the main table, best thing is
just to add to the comments box something along the line of
please remove my xx.xx time.

For info... If the setup differs i.e. diff motherboard then I regard
those as valid and allowable of more than 1 entry same system
results I tend to delete old ones.

But if you want any time removed just add to comments section
on submit form if you see any i've missed.

I'm looking at moving over to a mysql database, but my skills
at creating a php system to cope is limited.

be nice to have an orb style rankings system, but i've never
found any code that I can manipulate or run as is.

David @ Hexus who provides the hosting gave me some
details of the mysql database but I never used it, I'd have
to ask if thats still available to me as its prob not setup
since the changes way back when they were hacked.

Issue is of creating a decent system that can be left to run on
its own with minimal interaction be nice if result went up
right away but then its open to abuse and there are a lot
I just delete from people trying it on allready.

One day hopefully.

P.s. If anyone knows of any php scripts for displaying a rankings table pref sortable on various columns let me know.

thx

If you look at FUGGER on 13. place going 43.50 with P4@EE 4496 multi set at 16 compaired to bioblade on 18. place going 45.33 with 3.2@4470 multi 16.

Sorry everyone :(

Did not notice but the Pifast is a bit borked at the mo....

Not had any submission fall into the database since April 1st

Hexus have recently upgrade there server/s and it seems to
have locked the database.

I think those entering submissions will have noticed 3 or so lines
of error code flash up on there screens but nobody mentioned
until i stumbled accross it when logging into the email store.

Not to worry ;) Currently running through a big in-box of emails
that carry the details so there not lost or anything, just mean's
i have a lot of reading to do :( hopefully I'll get them before nights
out got most of them out the way.

not looked to see if I can sort this end yet concentrating on the
backlog of submissions but If I cannot I need to get intouch with
David@Hexus and i think he's on hols for moving house.

So please bare with me.. esp since the error causes 3 emails to be sent for each submission.

Thx
Paul.

P4-3G-GP is obsolete. Mr. tanuki holds Pentium4-36-GP now.
Basically, SuperPI English version is slightly faster than
Japanese version, so Mr. tanuki arranges "Japanese version
only" regulation.

> y can explain to me what is ur secret?
--
Once I explain it, it will be not a secret;)
Apparently, my optimization skill in P4-3G-GP era had been
lower, and now I have effective scheme for SuperPI.
So I wonder that same scheme is effective for PiFast...

Thank you for your comment, macci!!!
Well, I re-check my Prescott system, and confirmed your results:eek:
In WinXP, 838man=7m51s, and 8M=7m51s.
In Server2003, 838man=7m43s and 8M=7m44s!!!
I'm very surprised at this results and my conclusion is,
"It depends on CPU type."

Indeed, Pen4XE(Gallatin) and Athlon system give another
results, i.e. English version is slightly faster than Japanese
version, as I mentioned formerly.
For example, Pen4XE gives 838man=7m42s and 8M=7m34s
in my system(IC7 with Server2003).

Anyway, I appreciate you for giving chance of re-checking
these phenomena, macci;)

also a vcore mod and a cooler ambeit shouldn't hurt either :)
