View Full Version : How would I make a "T" in a copper line? *pic inside*
Also, how would this be performed?
At the end of this copper pipe, connect a "T" to it, with the cap tube exiting one end of the "T". The other opening of the "T", connect a pipe that ends with a shraeder valve to it. The part of the "T" where the cap tube exits, a short crimped piece of pipe must be crimped.
Here's the pic, and as you can see the "t" is right above the shrader valve. I'm just stumped on how it was connected to the tube w/o brazing it closed.

it is brazed...after you crimp it.
I'm still not understanding on how to get the small tube inside of the larger one, w/o drilling a small hole.

the large one is brazed into one end of the t junction effectively giving it two exits at that end of the line. the cap tube comes out one side of the t and is then crimped and brazed and the third (free) part of the tee is left for the shrader valve
Oh, I didn't realize it was another piece of metal brazed onto the line. Crap, I feel stupid now, lol. NOW I GET IT!!!
