Baker blocks or anything + latching on block

I need to get a block this week, and preferably i dont want to do that all brazing or whatever i just want to buy something that i can hook up immediaetly to a custom unit. and what baout this? http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fr.../ex-vap-07.html is that a block? like could i just buy that and hook it up to a custom unit?



So how do you (u the person owning one, not "u" as in the forum or "u" as in me) latch on the cpu block? ive heard everyone does it different, but is there any safe clean method that doesn't involve duct tape or something?

My method is using a hole saw to cut a hole thats aproximately the same size as the insulated suction line+ cap tube in a peice of lexan, Then I use a jigsaw to make a small line in it so I can slide it on. That takes care of attaching it to the evap head.

Then I use a drill press and put 2-4 holes in it that match up with the socket holes on the particular mobo or card.

I send bolts with little rubber washers and springs through the card/mobo and have the nuts on the outside of the lexan sheet on the evap head.

I'm sure that the guys that use better phase change systems will know of better ways though.

That is not a block, it is the housing to fit a vapo unit onto sockets 478/754/940

The cap tube goes inside the suction line and you should secure the cap tube inside because it is a nightmare if the cap tube comes loose after you charge the system. One drawback to pre assembled blocks.

OT: That site sells a universal Socket A to Socket 754/939 converter. I didn't know such things existed.
