View Full Version : MACH II Problem pls help
After moving house my MACH II is having trouble starting and getting to low temps.
I started it after moving once and worked normally, but then the second time it only got down to -30, i stopped and tried again and it got down to -25 C, so i thought it just needed to settle, so i left it over night and now it only gets down to - 20 C and ERROR message "TOO SLOW" comes up. I have checked all wiring and its fine.
I also found some green stuff on the compressor, is this a leak? pic below:

pls help.

Where exactly is the green stuff in that pic?
Im having similar problems, afaik the LED code on nVentiv site says too slow is because the mobo didnt start when it was meant too (at end of cool down).
My Mach II seems to be getting worse and worse, CPU temp is at +18 when not overclocked and thats Idle. There is the possibility the CPU/Mobo sensor is wrong however.

Does the suction line still get cold back near the compressor? That's the first place to warm up if there is a leak.

That's a freon leak my friend. At that joint there on the
copper tubing.
Start up temps are rising and rising is a dead give away
that your unit is losing its charge.
Pops.
Yes the 'green' stuff was at that joint ...hard to see with the digi cam flash on.
My system doesnt start simply cuz it doesn't hit a low enough temp. (-33) ...it got down to -30 then lower and lower...
Is the suction line the side of the compressor that the condensor is on? ...i touched it yesterday when it was on ...and i think it was still slightly cold. But i touched the top of the compressor and it wasn't as hot as it normally is ...probably cuz it wasn't on very long i presume.
shud i be worried about a freon leak? ...

The green stuff is common on the prommmie's. You may have a leak.
update: i took the evap off the cpu and started er up ...and everything seems perfectly normal. So it must be a sensor problem ... i fixed the problem temporally by lowering the start temperature of the system to -10C. But this blows cuz the temps. fluctuates on the sensor (sometimes 8C at a time) so im scared it will auto-shut-down when im doing something on my pc. Anything i can do to fix the sensor? or buy a new one (where?)?
