MX420 needs to go faster

Hi

Beeing an ATI man myself I just had to wonder what this GF4 mx420 card (from someone else's comp, that i need to put together) would do.

Now I don't know anything of nvida settings or something. So I downloaded GeforceTweaker and pushed "fast" settings.
Opened up Powerstrip and overclocked the card from 250/333 (stock) to 317/443 without even an aircooler or something blowing at it :p

443 was the maximum powerstrip would let me do :(

Now i would like to now some "sweet" settings for the MX420, and what tweak utility to use.

I currently got 5919 3Dmarks out of it (coming from around 4500 stock :D) with my 2.3ghz amd (11,5x202max timings)

Now i know nvidia can alter LoD bias or something (remember i'm an ATI man, so i don't know sh*t about nvidia settings) but how do you do that and what are the settings?

also what detonators are the best to use on W2K rig?

Any info to gain some points would be great. Software way offcourse as this isn't my card. I
can only wonder what it would do with a decent cooler on the core and some ramsinks or some pelt-chilling :flame:

Use the 40.52 Dets, they are the fastest right now. Use RivaTuner for tweaking the nVidia card. You can set LOD with it. If you go to power user in Riva and go down to Det/global and double click the LODBiasrange, you can set the LOD to say 15 and you can select the LOD higher or lower than the default +3 or -3. I have found with the latest drivers that anything more than 3 reduces performance.

Well I don't know about the gf4 MX, but for the gf4 Ti series, I know that LOD Bias @ 3.3 is good.
