Im having some insulation problems, I have an r404a phase change cooler. I was wondering if this http://www.austech.com.au/foamcold.htm would work to keep the condensation out around the socket and behind the mobo? The evap temps are around -50c to -40c.
Thanks in advance

It would probably work ok.

Although most of us guys use neoprene or armaflex, then fill little gaps with seal string.

Yeah I know, but the problem is I cant find a place to buy neoprene or armaflex. This stuff is sold at my local home depot, but I dont want to kill a bunch of hardware by using the wrong stuff.
Thanks

I don't think ridged foam like that will work well, I think it's more for insulating buildings. Armaflex is very common, just check around at hardware or plumbing stores.

I just use large amounts of dielectric grease with no foam and have never had a problem.
