Finally got all my stuff in the mail and begun building. Put on my HSF and hit 2.8 with no problems, got to 2940'ish and had to start up'ing vcore. Now I am at 3024 (168 x 18) and running 51/55 C on a p4 2.4b. Any ways of getting more stable and going higher? Also, I wanted to join the 3dmark team and get up on the list. I have a rather suckie Mx440 at 306/459 and turning mid 7k's. I have a Ti4200 on order being shipped today, I would like to turn 13000+. One thing, this 4200 is a 64 meg version? Big difference? Will I loose potential? TyTy

(not too bad for my first OC, now all I need to do is figure out this whole memory timing thing.)
wdd1040,
Welcome to Xtreme :)
Yes, that's a fine OC :D
The 64MB Ti4200 is better IMO because of the clocks it can hit ;)
There are a select few 128MB 4200's that will achieve the clocks that most 64MB ones will...

Welcome to Xtreme. Nice chip you got there. The 64 MB version of the Ti4200 won't loose you too much in 3DMarks. I think your system RAM is going to be a big factor. That Kingston isn't going to OC very well. I would look into better cooling for you P4 and some better RAM. 13k in 3DMark shouldn't be a problem once you get the 4200.

I will have better cooling in a few months, but for the time being, I'm stuck on Air. Also, my NB cooler comes in tomorrow, will that make any bit of difference? It's running at 35C right now.

The 4200 128mb version runs at a lower clock stock and doesn't OC as high, but @ like 1600x1200 w/ 4x fsaa it runs better than a 64mb as it has more room for the textures.
