I think Mach I w/507 is about equal to GT, you get lower temp than with ST (r134a) at a given cooling power.
A second hand Mach I + mod =half the price of a GT

ST isnt. ST is a mach 2 minus LCD,etc....therefore R134A, not R404A

Ok the machII with R507 is colder than the MachI with the same mod. You can add a controller to a Mach I Sporlan Model # 952895 with probe number 952889, will read only to -50 and will mount up to the original hole...

You will need to make sure not to overcharge it will run warm if you do, At roomtemp (72F) I see a 4 inch vacume. This is ball park,,, Run the system under load and charge according to temperature....but still watch your pressure... No matter what the lable says the Mach I will be over full if you simply install the amount of refrigerant in your line set.

Where could a guy purchase one of these controllers?
Does it work like the one that comes with the mach 2?

You can purchase the controllers from US AIR or RSD/Total control. United. any sporlan dealer.. It is like the one with the original mach I and will only go down to -50
