D00d... I've got a rev 1.2 Radeon9700... ne ideas whether the AGP8x thang is fixed on these??

Those things are rare...only about 8000 rev 1.2 boards produced. Theyre a half way house between the 1.1 and 1.3 - basically a bios updated 1.1 core. Works 50/50 on agp 8x boards, but only by forcing AGP 8x to AGP 1x.

The only 100% sure fire way to tell is to take the heatsink off and look on the core. If its an AE3 core its ok, if its AE2 its not...

The upside is if youve got a rev 1.2 now youll be getting the rev 1.3 boards most likely with your next shipment so I wouldnt mind waiting for that if its ok?

Yup no probs... s'why I was asking!
Will get heatsink off tomorro n check the core...
