i will get a 1.3ghz 478(!) pentium m from a friend :D

what chipsets support the pentium m cpus?

i know that oficially its only the 855 chipset, but its just a 845 with some extras afaik, so the 845 should work as well ,no?

i heard the 865/875 doesnt even work right with some mobile Pentium 4 chips, so it probably wont support the pentium-m ,right?

what about the 7205? i heard somebody saying there were 7205 based server blades with pentium-m chips on them on some show, can anybody confirm this?

in case i dont get any positive feedback about other chipsets i will probably get a 845 board since its very very close to the 855. wich was the best 845 ocer board?

hmm, what's the differences between the i845 and i855 chipset? can't find any info on this.

i heard that 603 pin version of Pentium-M has worked on some Xeon motherboards.

i found the article, there was a presentation of 478 banias cpus on a 7501 server board wich also had 478 sockets.

7501 is the server version of 7502, so shouldnt it work in 7502 then?

E7501 and 855 support the Pentium M

I'm looking for a Pentium M board too.

I am getting an 1.8 GHz Dothan ES :)
