when people are doing you a favour, please state your question better... and your thread title.

The answer is in the question, the psu probably sucks.

"Kills" sounds plural in this instance. How many lives does this PSU have? lol....

What does your voltage drop and system crashes? Hmm... probably crap PSU. Probably should get a new PSU.

Is it dead? Hmmm..... only one solution when a integral part of your PC is truly broken and down for the count.... Probably should get a new PSU.

With fortron and sparkle around no reason to have a crappy PSU. Its been said they dont make any bad ones really. I believe I partly tested this theory when I needed just a spare... bought the cheapest one I could get pretty much. $20 for 350 watts.. steady and even over spec a tad (fine by me).

PSU's can fail reset and still work. Chances are you are drawing more current than the PSU can deliver.

Jest get a new one and hopefully the problem is solved.

Generic PSU 400 Watt is usually like 400 Watt max and combined power of 260 Watt. I seen those pos psu's fry like no tomorow.

computerpro3 why are you being rude to ppl, i'm quite positive that he would explain his problems better in hebrew than in english. 100 $ for a PSU isn't that bad! Maybe you can find fortron 350 watters in israel, they rock

HOw am I being rude? I just told him that generics are trouble, as everyone else in the thread did. And I understood him perfectly. He didn't spend $100 on his psu, he is saying a good one costs that much. Read his post right before getting mad at me.

mmm,

you can spend 40 bucks on a sucky psu and blow it away
repeating this for 3 times .....

or you spend 100bucks and up and go for some years without trouble.

I killed two cheap psu's already.

iam running now with the enermax in my sig
Price € 90,- never had any problems

Not to be rude, but I feel that the comment "u didnt learn lol?"
could easily be taken the wrong way. Its nothing terrible though, as it is kind of strange he'd go through 3 powersupplys.
