Hi there :)

I'm gonna do the vdimm mod on my P4P800 Dlx this weekend and have been considering to cool the dimm MOSFETs.

Question being: Is it necessary, stability- or otherwise?

Anybody got experience with cooling the dimm MOSFETs and/or have knowledge about the temperature rise on the MOSFETs after the vmod?

I've been thinking about buying the Micro Sinks from MicroCool (http://www.microcool.it/index1.asp?ris=1024&lin=in).

It might help, or it might not, better to be on the safe side, eh?

some say the effect is just to stabilize the voltage more than anything...

why the micro sinks? use the bigger mosfet sinks....

Eljefe62: My thoughts too. Thanks for sharing yours :)

enzoR: If I put on the big MOSFET sinks I won't be able to open the DIMM slots. For the MOSFETs away from the slots though you got a point :)
