new at a64 few questions with new cpu

i'm buying a a64 mo 3000 (1.8ghz) and a AN5OR i have got bh-5 corsair (the mobo has got a vmod (3.1V)

he tested the cpu @ 1.66V and it did 2.390mhz

my question is what is at v can i go quase i have never used a64 before an what temp is save?

Around 75C is the limit for a clear conscience in my opinion. Otherwise, you'd be worried about it all the time. 1.7volts is good for stock air even, 1.8 with great air or watercooling. And higher for phase change. Some people may tell you different, but as I said, these are my opinions.
