Hi there, I´m new in this forum. ;)

Do you guys got any idea, which Prescott(with the new D0 stepping) does 4 GHz stable @ watercooled? I`d like to have a CPU, with which I can reach a high FSB level, so the 2,8 GHz(FSB 800 MHz) or the 3,0 GHz model would be great. Is there a special stepping of these CPUs, with which I can reach the 4 GHz Prime-stable? And which low-latency RAM would run stable with a frequency of 267-286 MHz on my non-modded IC7-Max3?

Thanks for your answers in advance. ;)

Welcome to XtremeSystems.org

Might have to do some searching to find the D1's but they offer more headroom than the C stepping from early reports.

Try more volts on your PC4000 before buying new ram. Lots of Mods here for the IC7 Max3. You are going to be motherboard limited on FSB. I would suggest largest multiple for best results.

I never did a voltage mod, I don`t want to loose the warranty on my nice motherboard. :D So if I try the 5:4 divider, would it be then possible to reach such a high FSB?

edit: Sorry, my english isn`t verry good, but could somebody answer my question please? :( WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO REACH A FSB FROM ~260-280 MHz WITH MY IC7, IF I USE THE 5:4 RAM DIVIDER AND HAVE A OC-FRIENDLY CPU?
