3.0c SL6WK

With all the chatter about 3.0s i decided to jump on the band wagon. SL6WK batch Q401A463 defaults to 4.75 volts. Booted at 250 fine but needed 1.5125 volts to be stable. P4C800E with oz gold 3700. 250 seems to be tops for the memory. Having stability issues after 250. When i change to 5/4 divider on mem do i lower mem volts as well? And ohh ya it has the beautious 30 caps.

Nice now set the mem to 5:4 and go for the max. When changing the mem divider from 1:1 to 5:4 leave the vdimm to 2.85v(the max in the bios), which shouldn't hurt you ram at all.

I just picked up exactly the same cpu .. 3.0c with 30caps ;) Mine maxes out at 3.9 Ghz on my unmodded p4p with watercooling ... it boots up to 4.1 but I need the droop mod .. good luck !

3.9 on water? damn...maybe I should stick with Intel this summer instead of getting an a64. I wonder how high you would have to clock a 3200 to match a 4ghz 3.0c.

That way I could actually be using my mach1 and wouldn't even have to buy a new mounting kit. Would still need to replace my stupid pos 4pca3+ (3rd one, and all broke randomly. Only paid for 1, 2 rma's). Wouldn't make the same mistake, this time I would pick up a p4c800-e or max3 without question...couldn't be conformist, oh no, had to go with the epox board :mad:

Nice results on the SL6WK, Yours is only the Second one I've seen default to 1.475, the first is in my Backup machine;)

3.9 on zalmon 7000 3D stable. Boots at 4gs but cant seem to get it stable. What is safe volts for these new 3.0s on air. My asus is a little wacky after 1.6 volts.:D

Max was 4.01ghz 1.65 volt.. (on water)

I think mine will get there too .. but my 350W aopen psu is limiting my oc (the damn thing beeps ay load :stick: )

3.96 at 1.585 volts cant seem to find anything stable at 4gs.
