Will it be a good idea to put 4 sticks of 256mb corsair pc3200LL PT v1.1(bh5's) on an asus p4c800-e? any special bios setting I should watchout for? The 4 sticks runs in pairs at about 240fsb with dual channel config on NF2 mobo's with 3.0vdimm. Thanks for any comments.

I don't think you'll get to far with them. I tried 4 sticks of bh-5 in my intel rig that do 240+ in pairs and i was lucky if i could get 220 with all 4 sticks. good luck.

yea, filling up the slots over stresses the northbridge chip on intel based system. i'm not quite sure what effect it has on A64 system tho.

I had 4 sticks of 256MB Infineon PC2700 in my P4C800-E, without any problems.
They did 230Mhz, 2-5-2-2, 3.1V, memtest error free.

Here's a screenie I took not so long ago.
265FSB, with 5:4 divider (= 212Mhz) :

With my bh-5 sticks (1 a-data+3 corsair) that do 278 by pair I was able to do 270 1:1 rock stable :

Maybe the vdd mod helps a little...

It's okay to populate all 4 dimms and have dual channel, but it prevents higher overclocks and maybe prevent tight timings.

265FSB, with 5:4 divider (= 212Mhz) : pretty impressive Jupiler, can you do 1 with PAT enabled?

First fo all, thanks for the replies, I tested them individually in pairs and they can go up to 250fsb with 3.1vdimm, however, like many of you mentioned, I'm unable to get all 4 sticks to be stable together even at 220fsb. Also, I realized that with the bulky PT heatspread, they are literally touch eachother when populating the 4 dimm slots. In addition, I cant enable PAT.

WOW, nice rams Jupiler, I didn't know Infineon are that good. Are those Infineon double sided or single sided? I will try to use my single sided 2*256mb hyperx bh-5 with 2*256mb twinmos bh-5 and see how those will do.

They're single sided.
I don't have the ram anymore. Sold them a couple of weeks ago for a nice price and got me 2*512MB Kingston HyperX PC3500 with BH5 chips.

I managed 245Mhz, 2-5-2-2, 3.2V with 2 sticks, on both the IC7-G and P4C800-E. They wouldn't go higher though.

There are different kind of PC2700 Infineon sticks, some made in Italy, Portugal, ....
If you can find some "Assembled in the USA of imported components", grab them, they're good.

This is how the sticker on the memory looks like and what you should be looking for:
