I did the Vdroop mod last weekend and now it seems that my 12V rail droops periodically. From what I understand, that shouldn't be a big deal as long as the 3.3V, and 5V rails are OK. Currently they read 5.107 and 3.396. I am using a TT Pure Power 480W PSU w/active PFC. Is the addition of the droop what is causing this? For the Vdroop mod I used 20 gauge wire and soldered to the blue dots. Could this cause a problem? Thanks in advance.http://home.comcast.net/~lawsonmh15/12Vduringsandra.gif

May have figured it out, but can't understand the affects. I lowered the voltage to my OCZ PC4200 to 2.75 from 2.85 (2.8 recommended by OCZ but I have a feeling that's top end now.) and then was able to reduce Vcore to 1.5625. and now it doesn't drop below 11.551. http://home.comcast.net/~lawsonmh15/12Vafter2.gif
I have a feeling I could drop the Vdimm to 2.65 for better 12V rail stabilization. Will soon find out.

XaserIII Super Tower = 7 case fans
1 PCI Blower Fan.
Disconnected blinding blue led on the front of the case. Fan controller is powered.
Don't know what a tec is.

lowering the vcore has a lot more impact than lowering vdimm.
I'll bet you can raise your vdimm and it (12v rail) wont budge, seeing as its likely driven from the 5v or 3.3v rail.

Your PSU is having trouble supporting the load. Buy something more substantial...might I recommend the PC Power and Cooling 510.
7 fans :O ...take a few off and see wot happens
