Will this PSU mod help with the vdroop on the P4C800-E Deluxe? Or is the vdroop really something I should do the mod on the mobo itself? If the PSU mod helps with the vdroop, that would be a heavenly sent fix!

The vdroop mod is done on the motherboard. I don't know which PSU mod you're referring to.

I am curious whether a fluxing power rail on the psu would cause a flux in the actual voltages sent to the board.
Lets say the Vcore is powered by the 5v rail...obviously plenty of voltage there. But what if under load the 5v rail jumps all over the place? It wouldnt dip to the same level as the Vcore, as that value is less than 1/2 of the 5v rail....but how does a jumping rail impact it anyway?
I am betting that a more stable rail, modded or otherwise, will help with sagging voltages.
Thats why I mod most things I have just in case.
