Perhaps I may need some direction here. I did the Vdroop mod on my P4C800-E Deluxe yesterday (works) but I have trouble at anything over a 240FSB. I'm at 232 right now at 1.5675 in the bios (1.632 in windows). If I go up to 240 and set the Vcore to 1.6 it loads windows then freezes and reboots. Up the voltage to 1.65 to eliminate any Voltage factor... Same thing. My Ram is OCZ Perf. Plat. PC4200 (3-4-4-8, Infinite, 7.8). This ram shouldn't have a prob until AT LEAST 267fsb. WTF!!! Is a Vdimm mod in my future? Is this what the problem is?

Here is a brief synopsis by which you can base your diagnosis.

1.) During windows XP screen the slider stops and reboots.

2.) Boots to windows then freeze and reboot.

I've seen people with my 2.8C running 3.5 at 1.6Vcore so I imagine it's the mem but not too sure. I'll bet many of you are far more experienced in this realm than myself. The recommended ram voltage is 2.8(which is the max on the P4C800-E Deluxe. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Seems like a CPU error....thought it could be RAM also.

Try one stick at a time and see if there is any difference?
