But hey. X800 is unfair. Every noob can top my score with that one and an average mobile

When I get an X800XT all will start again ;) But those aren't out yet. And furthermore it's quite a bunch of money to spend on a graphics card... (okay. mine is 1year old and cost about the same ;) 480Euros)

who cares if you can beat his score with a more powerful videocard.

beat his 25k score with a R9800 pro.
then you seperate the men from the boys :D

again, excellent work.

Tips? Hmm. Make an own win2k benching partition on NTFS. Does not have to be large, maybe around 2GB. Install SP2 and CAT3.1 with modded files from ... dunno exactly who did them, but they're to be found here. Install DX8.1a. Try to mod the hell out of your card, vmods, bios mods... Disable Fastwrites and SBA as they tend to lock your whole system up during benching, SBA especially in Nature bench! Try to disable all unnescessary services before. Run 3dmark2001SE.exe at realtime priority. Close explorer...

/edit: Think it's been Minnyboy (or so, sorry if it's da wrong name  ) making the modded R350/360 files for older Cats.

And use your max (stable) settings in bios, that last at least one run ;)

That's it. Maybe you could run the tests in a special order:
Dr low, Lob low&hi, Dr high, Car low&high, Nature!

Good luck :toast:

Thanks again, Kunaak :D

my god that is a sick score! 25k on a 9800 pro too! 128fps in car chase high, thats just insane! think youd break 30k with an x800xt?

No, he wouldn't, but that isn't the point. It's a sick score. :D

Congrats on your score and excitement, But you shouldn't double post

Makes everything hard to follow and confusing.

I just switched my sig rig to a moblie 2400 and NF7-2. im stuck @ 22.5 till i get a better chip. I ordered 4 and crossing my fingers..

But congratulations on that killer score. Bang for the buck. XP's have always been on top

SAE did my run-order help? Those are incredible system scores man.

Hell, with a better card you'd pass the highest P4C - 9800 Pro... that being Macci's 16.1K.

Another PM4U. :toast:

Hmm. I am working on better cooling for my card. Think macci had used better cooling ;)

The order did not help much... :(

I am settled to use the original order as I got it with my system untweaked just after win bootup. PM answered :D

Just cusious what you/others are using for an order. I use the following: drag low, lobby low, lobby high, drag high, car low, car high, nature.

I'm not trying to hyjack this thread, just wondering if there's anything else worth trying out.....'cus I like learning from the folks with the higher scores, and 25k with an AXP puts even my P4 to shame.....stupid AI7.

Yupp, this order (DL-LL-LH-DH-CL-CH-N) seems to be the best, but don't be afraid to try any new ones :)

Hmm, I can't even really think of a combination other then this that would benefit your score any more.....it'd be fun to play around with.....but for now it'll just have to do. ;)

good one, I was only able to get 23.5K on an A64 with a 9800Pro, 25k on an XP is amazing.

Yeah, kinda makes me want to build a nice AXP setup and play around with it a bit. I never had the chance to have a NICE AXP setup.....I went from my single channel SiS mobo/2400+ to my P4.....so I kinda missed out.

Overclocking is sure more fun.....damn you Intel and your stupid locked multipliers. ;)
