Gosh I'd kill for that chip. I've got a B0 2.0A and I'm lucky to get a couple hundred MHZ out of it now(it seems to have GNDS).
How stable is it 3 GHZ? What does the rest of your system look like? Temps?

ohh......of course my system!
MSI Neo-2 fisr/Epox 4GEA+
2x256mb Infineon @ max. 240 3.2V 2-2-2-6
FX5800 @ Ultra
everything is watercooled with a german watercooling system.
temps are around 34-36idle and max 40load!
and its rockstable!!
but i want mor than these 3ghz!!

Why not bump the volts up a bit. Go up to 1.6, you should be okay with watercooling.

id say it could be maxed!

Have you tried other dividers on the ram?

it can´t be maxed out cause i bought it from a friend and he managed to push it over 3ghz!!
i have tried all dividers!
well if he got it higher ...then either he is lying, or the chip has GNDS and will OC lower and lower.

so... who cares!!
but thanks anyway

uhh...yeah.
Most C1s in the low clock range top out at 2.7-2.8. Yours actually did quite well.
Do not be pissed.

Nope, I tried a half dozen of the 2.0As recently, and the C1s top 3.1 gig easily. One I have does 3.25 at 1.65 VCORE. The new D1 steps are even better, doing around 164-166 or 3.28-3.3 at 1.58-1.60 VCORE. I need them for my Intel 850 RDRAM boards which max out around 156 fsb. Needless to say, I got buffer so I can run them there at default voltage or less.
The CPUs are extremely consistent, with early C1s doing 3.0-3.1 gig, the later ones 3.2 and the D1s close to 3.3. Haven't seen a dud yet. This is on air with an Alpha8942. The D1s I have are made in China.
3.25 gig is a 62.5% overclock, or equivalent to a 2.40C doing 3.9 gig or a 3.0C doing 4.8 gig!
