Does S.N.D.S(Sudden Northwood Death Syndrome) Affect Pentium 4 Northwood C Series HT, Pentium 4 E Series, Prescott Series?
I have water cooling and I think it is time to overclock my P4 3.0ghz C Series.:D
Has anyone suffered S.n.d.s or unknown mysteries on their C series?

Personally, I never had that kind of problems, maybe because I switched cpu's pretty often. :)
Some people have reported their cpu's decreasing in perfomance after running higher volts through them for a longer period. Others say the contrary.
I think that Tedinde has (had) a 1.6a, which he ran at 1.85V, for over 1 1/2 year, without any problems.
I wouldn't go above 1.70-1.75V for daily use, even with better cooling.
ive never heard of it in C1's , D1's , or M0's.
I have heard of them just starting to give out and not stable at even stock speeds though! but the key is they still boot so its not death :D
Never heard of anything like this for Prescotts though
edit: JUPILER BEAT ME BY 2 SECONDS!!! :mad: :D

Jupiler is the A Series 433mhz, the B Series 533mhz, the C,E,Prescott 800mhz Series?
I know S.N.D.S affected A and B Series but not sure about C Series?
Peen I'm scared of that too. LOL I need all of my precious 3ghz to fold, game, encode movies at the same time.

A = 400Mhz.
The rest is like you said.
I dont think you need to worry about it. just keep it cool, and id say not to go over 1.85v 24/7.
all those ppl who say dont go over 1.75, but also never heard of a death need to look at what the name of this site is ;)
