how about this one? OCZ performance series PC3200 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-896&depa=1) $264

Error Checking: Non-ECC
Registered/Unbuffered: Unbuffered
Cas Latency: 2-3-2-5 1T

I linked to that one Kanavit. I dont like it really its too expensive. The Adata is cheap and it will do 300FSB if im lucky

never heard of Adata before. good luck, maybe it could be awesome.

they still made BH-5 chips? i thought they discontinued that.
Winbond isnt the only IC manufacturer.
The Adata PC4000 is the same as OCZ 4200 and stuff i hear, with Hynix IC's

its not bh-5 on the ram you linked, its CH-5. So memory you linked him to wouldn't be a good choice...
well im hearing that 272 with Adata 4000 should be easy and require less then 2.9v.
Now, if i get a AMD64, I could run these beasts at like 300HTT 3-4-4-8 and get good performance?
i mean, doesnt latency not hurt that bad with A64?

I think that the ADATA sticks should be fine, if you plan on running at 1:1 with slower timings.
Price looks OK too.

i mean, doesnt latency not hurt that bad with A64? AMD chips are more sensitive to CAS ram timings than P4s, so you will have to be even more careful choosing ram for A64.

they dont hurt A64 ... AS bad, CAS i've heard doesnt really matter ...but the other numbers still do.

anyone have numbers on how much of a difference on A64 it makes........ say 200HTT 2-2-2-5 vs 3-4-4-8? be kinda interesting to see on A64.
