Hi, I just recoqnized a problem what I already had with my FX5900, sometimes the scores are just totally weird. Let's say I get about 6k on stock clockings, then I get 3k with o/c. Anyone knows this problem and knows how to solve it ??

yep have the same weird problem with my 5900 xt at the moment.
If you oc too much there is this holdback function in the bios which clocks your frequencies down even more... However there are modded bios'es which disable these functions

The card is not throtheling down everytime I clock it that .. strange. Well I'll keep on testing. ;)
Somehow I managed it on my old FX5900, that the protection disappeared suddenly..

It's not very hot here and the temp probe says the core's not even 40° warm.

But another question, why do I always get such low nature scores. What's the most important factor for a good nature score, except 44.03 drivers. ;)

Use Rivatuner to adjust LOD bias, you must find your own balance to get the best score. Generally, +5 bumps the score a bit, but tweaking is more fun. Every damn test on a different LOD, now that's XS :D

I hate to burst your bubble, but the 5900s scored higher in 3DMark2001 Nature than the 9800's did (yes thats with 44.03).

They had 200+ fps last summer/fall. The bad part is they were weaker in the rest of the tests (except Car Low).

I g0t the same Problem.
But I got only 4800 Points at stock and oced only 5000, but if the card is clocked too high the scores are falling down.

Yeah i know they are getting 200+ FPS. But the average person ive seen using 5900s and 5950s gets pretty weak nature scores compared to most 9800 Pros.
