First place is none other than our famous Macci being the first guy to own the x800xt! Second place is Jason close behind Macci but using the slower x800 pro! Third place is Kingpin just over 3k behind Jason but still wayyyyyy up there on the orb among the millions of other scores and almost 500 marks ahead of Oppainter! congratulations again Kingpin! :toast:

I think it's so awesome, with these new graphic cards you actually see a huge improvement in IQ. The First big leap since the revered raddy 9700 pro.

For sure not finished yet...Just testing the limits of the core on this x800pro. I havent done much with the mem clocks yet and my os is extremely un-optimized and untweaked.

I'm thinking maybe 34-35k with this x800pro with my cpu@ 2.92ghz, higher mem clocks on card, and a tweaked OS.

I just couldn't resist publishing one of these scores :)

CPU: 3020MHz, VIDEO: 720/639 => 703FPS
CPU: 2995MHz, VIDEO: 740/645 => 700FPS

Car low is all CPU/Bandwidht now too, card speed used to be more important on 9800XT.
Nature is the only video speed test now, Drago hi gets a small boost too from GPU speed (w/ system speed @ A64 3GHz-level).

whats interesting is that theoretically a 98xt with the same card clocks as in this bench, would perform about the same, if OPP had 680/550 on his XT and his same FX51 clocks, im sure hed be around this score because of the significant memory clock increase. it must be that the rest of his system is still a lot lower

maybe so with those 2 scores but jason broke 35k with a FX51/x800pro combo and a 9800xt wouldn't have ever done that. ;)

I felt honored to start that thread stating my congras for his score. Likewise, I would be honored if someone made a thread when I break 20k with my ti4200. 35k is going to be very hard, but not impossible. Jason has a 250MHz cpu advantage there plus it being athlon FX. You will need some mean x800 clocks. I wont even predict where you will end up, you know much better than me anyway. We will just spectuate and cheer you on :) any idea when you will have time to break 32k or more?
