More MHz or more fsb?

I am trying desparately to break 23k with my AthlonXP rig. I can manage 22.7, but that is it. I dropped a .5x and added 7MHz to the fsb. CPU went from 2679 to 2631 (11x243 to 10.5x250). I only gained about 70points. So what should I be trying for? More overall CPU MHz or lower multi and try for higher fsb?

I'd go with higher fsb, but if you gain only like 3mhz on your fsb where as you might gain 50mhz in cpu speed i'd go with overall cpu speed. Try both though.

Ok I'll drop the multi to 10x and see if I can squeeze a few more MHz out of the fsb.
