im trying to find out my max FSB and i just finished running memtest on my setup (2x512 pc3200 mushkin 2-2-2-11) to see if its stable or not. My FSB is set to 215 and after 4 hours i got 3 errors. is this bad to have even gotten any errors at all, or is a certain amount tolerable? I ran prime earlier for about 4 hours and it never gave me an error. Sorry if this is such a newbie question...

No, it is not a noob question...
It is strange that you dont get any errors in Prime after 4 hours, when you get errors in Memtest. But then again, prime does not test all the memory in your system. If it runs fine in all applications, who gives a     about those 3 errors?

prime and memtest often dont agree with each other
I have seen prime run stable with memtest failing and prime fail with memtest passing
They are testing different things
If you get 3-4 errors in memtest in 4 hours , your likely running the memory ( or somthing else ) pretty close to the edge .
I would hazard to guess you wont notice any problems in windows with those small single errors
