Whats wrong with my A64+9600XT scores?

I get 12k stock card 2.55ghz CPU here (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7829497 )
30mhz on the core brought me up to 12.3k 30mhz more gets me 12.45k :/
It seems pretty low I think. Am I wrong? 4.3 cats 3.13 Nvidia mobo drivers DX8.1 3dmark build 330. Everything set to performance in ATI settings. AA/AF OFF. Clean install of win XP home. No updates. SP1.

You should probably try win2000, it should get you a few more points.

It seems off by more than a few points :p: I dont have win 2k anyway nor do I want to "obtain" it.

Tried 600 core with riva tuner (rage3d maxed at 572 :/ ) and I froze in car low :stick:

I need a new keyboard. This thing is screwing with me...

make sure you install the chipset and agp drivers, your agp rates are n/a also use cats 3.7 I think those are faster. with your rig you should be getting like 14k

:stick: Thats chipset drivers are they not? I have AGP 8x set in the BIOS... This board blows :mad:

Christ... I checked the smartgear tab and it said AGP rate was off. I set it to 8X, restart, still off. Go into BIOS, set it to 4x8x (it was "auto" because I forgot I reset when I flashed BIOS) and it still says "off" in smartgear :stick: :stick: :stick:

Maybe DX8.1 and the new Cats are a really bad combination... try some older Cats.

That is low. I just built a customers rig 2.3 ghz on a XP mobile. and a 9600xt and pull off close to 14k. The card was clocked up to 575.

Got the 3.7 cats it. It said I needed DX9 but they just installed anyway :p: Should I break down and get DX9?

Ok got the 3.7 cats benchie done and its the same score... I THOUGHT it was better but apparently not.

can you try 3dmark 2003? If you break 3k there then its your mobo holding you back :(

Yeah, you can try 03... (for that you need DX9 though). You should get close to 4k with non overclocked card.

Something is surely fishy around here. You should be getting 14k+ on that setup. Try a reformat

I got DX9 and the new nforce drivers and got like 12.4k :/
My superPI is the average 36S for my CPU speed.
I'm gona get 03 now.
I'm still pissed the AGP is screwed up. I think thats my problem...

I get 13k with my 2.2GHz Barton and 9600 Pro @ 477/324 and DX9, 3.2 Cats, Windows XP.

my fx 5200 at 313/568 clocks is beating u in nature... somethings wrong. oh and dont cave in and get dx9.

Should I use the drivers off the mobo CD instead of the ones from Nvidia?

Why is my 3d score about average as with my superPI but when CPU intensive 3d starts it craps out? My mobo?

Is it stable? if it's giving you errors it could be lowering your score.

I got like 11.3k stock... Current OC is SuperPI stable and has run like 10 runs of 3dmark fine. Stability isint an issue.
