Just done the Vdimm mod on the nf7, 3.3rail = 3.6 and vdimm = 3.2 right now, if i set it to 3.3 my computer gets into windows but then reboots straight away, whats going on? this ram's been tested to 3.5volts by our very own saaya!

could be a lot of issues.. timings, voltage, chipset etc :)

this ram did 215fsb 2-2-2-11 @ 2.9volts, surely it can do 3.3volts and get into windows at 210fsb

hmmm is the 3.3v rail stable? any fluctuations? meassure it off the mosfets with a multimeter during boot up.
mosfets running hot and crapping out?
are you running the memory in dual channel with another module?
try a diferent memory slot, when i ran this stick in dual channel with other memory it always wanted to be in slot1 or it wouldnt boot.
on my a7n8x i had the 3.3v rail at 3.7v and the vdimm at 3.6 without fluctuations and the memory ran fine, it only oced 3mhz more with 3.6v compared to 3.3v though, so i never tried more vdimm again.
what happens if you try to boot at 200mhz? maybe theres some overvolt protection kicking in?
could also be the nb wich gets slightly warmer with more vdimm...
trying my best to make sure your happy with teh bh5 :D
when did you send me the memory btw? monday? tuesday?

tried 3.3 volts after a fresh windows install and still nothing, reboots when it hits windows, tried 3.5volts and its even worse, reboots instantly.
any have a clue? :(

if it really needs 2.9v to run 200fsb 2-2-2 then the ram might be crapping out? anyways, if it doesnt run 217 with 2.8v you can rma it. i have no idear what they will send you as replacement though... if you can pick ask for bh5/bh6, if they dont have it ask for the newer stuff with hynix memory, bbad timings but 300mhz...
weird how it ran 235 on my board right before i sent it to you and now only does 210...
EDIT: it should run 217mhz with 2.7v actually, default is 2.5 and it says +/- 0.2v no?
