Don't show us the pictures then of the card overclocked ..just tell us ! ;). Thanks for posting the info though !
Interesting that with the cpu overclocked in 3dmark03 Gt4 nature got the biggest boost .. ( forgetting GT1 for the moment for obvious reasons )
I'd have expected GT2 to have been the biggest winner, then Gt3 ( which is more complex so you'd expect the video card to be more important ) then GT4. Wonder if Macci saw likewise ?

im very impressed with the 3dmark2001 scores. 24k stock on an A64 3200+ is very good.

Sems a little low for 3d03 from what I've seem, but then the A64 is a little weaker in that benchmark then the Intels

3DMAKR01SE, very fast, sure can get 30k with both CPU & Display card o/c.
3Dmark03, not quite fast, but I think it can get 10k.
Unfortunately, I can't test its overclockability.
I heard that X800Pro will be available in retail market by the end of this weekend.

thanks for the benchies. stock 3400+ with bad ram timings and stock x800pro 24.5k thats sick! I know a stock 3200+ and 2-2-2-5 ram gets 20k with 9800 pro, 21k with 9800xt. that would be 25k with x800 pro and 28k with x800xt all stock! wow man. also wow you gained 27fps in drag high details with a cpu overclock. even todays fastest cpus are so bottlenecked by a STOCK x800 dragothic gains BIG from a cpu overclock. I gained very little in dragothic on my ti4200 with a cpu oc

I think i know why, the x800 hsf is actually smaller than the 9800xt which had ramsinks. it's because ATI wanted to eliminate any heat the ram was generating to help alleviate heat from the VPU. ram added heat to the copper heat sink , very clever design by ATI's part.

Its cause the new GDDR3 runs much cooler than GDDR2, and the HSF would add heat to the ram instead of removing it.

Anyone know if someone has benched the X800Pro with a "mid-level" system yet? Like an AthyXP 3200+ or one of the Mobile Athy's? I'm curious to see because my X800Pro will be on my doorstep tomorrow morning and would like to know what kind of Marks I should be getting.

yes, one guy did but he was using windows xp with bad ram timings and probably had stuff running in the background too. yet he still got 18.5k marks and 201 in nature. scores of well over 20k, perhaps 22k is possible with a stock xp3200 barton on win 2k and dual channel ram at 2-2-2-11 timings but well find out tomorrow for sure ;)
edit: he just responded. 3-3-3-8 timings and single channel, ouch that has to hurt! dual channel at 2-2-2-11 would easily be over 20k. with win 2k, over 21k maybe even 22k

My card should be here in 2 hours....... w00t! Here are my system specs.....
Athy-M 2600+ running at 200x12 (2.4Ghz)
Corsair TwinX PC3200LL (2-2-2-6)
A7N8X Deluxe (revision 1 :( )
WD1200JB drive
X800Pro (in a few hours)
I currently have the 9700pro and the highest I can get on '01 is 18,630 Marks. I hope I can break 22k with the new video card. Only time will tell. I will make a thread here once I can run some benches because I'm sure that some peeps are interested to see what it can do in a "mid-level" system.
Not everyone here has phase change and a 3.2EE or A64 to play with ;)

223fps in Nature..... not bad.
The card was overclocked quite a bit. The proccessor was at 2.5+Ghz too. I will be doing more detailed runs later tonight and post what I find in a new thread.
This card does kick ass though. UT2K4 MAX everything at 1600x1200 and all driver settings maxed out gives me an average of 55fps throughout.

Great news so you gonna get one? Yeah still not sure about the PCI lock.... .
BTW, the K8NS is not very good after all cause I've been struggling with memory issue. And it seems like it will not run 2 x 512 at ddr400. Plus don't think that it likes CL2.5 and CL3. Therefore, I couldn't get my pc4200 above 230 without proper CL2.5 or 3 timing (and just 1 stick can do 400).
So if KV8pro has the lock.....:D :slobber:

Same as 9800XT I believe. Mine is stock@1.35v and I'm not even going to pencil mod it. 30k stock with no tweaks and just OC on CPU and VC is fine with me.

The S754 is seasoned and rock solid. It's the S939 that is problematic (all new technologies are), but I'm still laughing at people that waited for the S939 like it was the answer to all of life's problems.:rotf:
When it's all said and done people will find that there is little difference in the 754/940/939 platforms. They are all AMD64 130nm CPUs and all pretty much the same.:D
