Maccis team deserves respective congras as well and I mean it. the meaning of team explains itself :) anyway it looks like Macci is done for now. I hope they switch over to the amd rig and try 2001 now, maybe 38k will fall?(dont get mad, I am allowed to guess)

I don't normally pick you up on what you say but that is complete rubbish and you should write an aplogy to both Kamu and Sampsa, both who have set great records in SuperPi , 3dmark and other benches.
Write and apology and then shut up.

Congrats to Team Finland for a great score : toast : , the video card didn't give much more with Ln2 but the Ln2 P4EE did the business in GT1, 414 fps .. heh
Thanks for sharing it with us, I got out of bed a bit late ( ie by 3 hours, so missed the fun ) but nice to see the result up there.
Hopefully Opp and other XS can hunt you down now :D

i hate when some uneducated people talk about who's the brains and who's not. I'm sure you haven't seen Sampsa's and Kamu's scores before? 17k with TI4600 LN2 cooled that even took down r9700Pro in '01 for example? I think you were too young back then.
Great score guys and keep'em coming!:toast:

What happens when the condensation melts? It doesn't damage the components does it? If it did that would be damn expensive.

Think we will see it with the next CPU's... Now its CPU limited... Not graphics limited... So perhaps S939??? Or Intels Pentiums with 266FSB???

Darn id like to see that with a SUPER X800XT...
But actually i think that 6800U will do better in 03..

who knows, they are busy guys though. Maybe Macci, sampsa and kamu may be waiting for s939 for 2001, since s939 is currently shipping. I also recall the team mention that 17k may be possible with better drivers.

17k may be possible with better drivers.
doesn't need faster drivers ;)
Just a bit less beer and more OCing :D
The card didn't have the Overcurrent mod on it when we did the LN2 so it was limiting the Vgpu quite a bit. I've now done the mod and just pushed it past 16.8k w/ cascade (and pretty bad cascade temps too..like -78C or so).
STEvil

How much does -78 differ from -100 oc wise? Cos they're both very very very cold... or did you mean compared to LN2?
I wonder which will come out on top, the 6800u or the X800xt....... kinda exciting this

He meant bad compared to what he is used to seeing from it, in the -85 to -90 range.

yeah thougt so too, but i wondered what difference in oc it'll mean
between -78 and -90 for example since its both very cold, and i cant image that that would matter much.
But apperently its does matter, at least thats what i understood from macci's remark.
and i know what cascade cooling macci has....
When will the video be availible?
