How is that P35A-S treatin ya in the "overclockability" area Sta!nless????
It does 450 easily, after that I think the memory is holding me back. I can't get it to run stable at 3.7. I got the board from Pastor J from [H] that used the board for a review on legit reviews.
P35 chipset roundup
http://www.legitreviews.com/article/550/13/
"The Foxconn P35A-S is regularly priced at around $150. This board was a diamond in the rough."
I bought the board from him after the review for $115 shipped. It was proven to clock to what my goal was. No complaints here.

Anywayz heres an assortment of pics of the case and watercooling at this time (that one green fan has been replaced by blue led to match rest)

Hmm, the only thing i see that Swifteck recommended is to mount pump on bottom of case.

Although i did have to work a while to get system full of fluid and the performance has not given me any problems.
But thank you for your words of caution. Dully noted for my future builds.

I am sorry for having so many pictures, but I did not want to
go and make a whole new thread just for this. It is a
little bit of messing around with an Armor, the gear is in my sig.
Used 3 Scythe S-Flex on the front, F type 1600 RPM.
I have an idea in my head about mounting a 120mm fan on the floor
of case between my to pumps on intake, with a custom shroud so it's
sitting up at about 30 degrees towards the rear, just to blow
cool air over the unisink and SB and out the back of the case.
I hope it doesn't look to dodge to be Xtreme!
01 Had to shave a mill or so off to make the HR09 Squeeze into the gap.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/3750/01hr09shavingei3.jpg
02 Also had to make new mount from aluminium and rubber pad.
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/5772/02hr09mountwb7.jpg
03 Knocked out pins with hammer, drilled out holes, now I can use the back plate with MCW30.
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9075/03mcw30usingbackplatecx3.jpg
04 Unisink combo, looks weak, but preforms relatively well.
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/4336/04gfxfuzionea1.jpg
05 Sporting my new Scythe S-Flex 1600RPM fans. (I do have the 5 1/2 bay covers on with filters, but not for this photo.)
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/2807/05frontwithscythsflexfpn4.jpg
06 Just before I filled it up.

07 Yes it is filled, and yes, my case needs cleaning

08 I think the blue and green go well.

09 It does look a little bit messy on the outside.
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/55/09messyoutsidean8.jpg
10 I don't know how to guage good flow without a metre, but that looks pretty good.
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/7482/10thatsflowcj3.jpg
11 ClearFLEX 60 fat tubing is pretty kink resistant.
http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8559/11clearflex60nokinkyi3.jpg
12 I don't actually have these dominators in atm, Spot cool used because no RAM coolers fit.
http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/1089/12dominatorsnotinatmah0.jpg
13 Probably the best of a bad bunch of photos lol.
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/6553/13thislooksgoodex7.jpg
14 You can really see the flow difference from the D5 1/2" loop to the very weak Tt 3/8" loop.
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/1180/14flowdifferenceva4.jpg
15 I don't know how good that fan mounting is, but it works, and yes they both flow the same direction.

I've been reading this thread here for a long time, however I have only registered myself a few days ago. There are some really nice rigs here, great to see that there are more guys like me that like nice and clean Water-Cooled rigs...:p
Here's mine, the hardware installed on it is nothing special. I have a far better machine, though not watercooled at the moment..(will be, as soon as I get enough money----> TJ07  )

Thanks a lot guys. :D
@ Smee - The cube doesn't belong to me, the mod wasn't done at my house. Anyway, I hate does cubes, they always seem to make me more nervous. :P
The green liquid is an "all-in-one" solution, by this I mean it is not necessary to add any other chemicals, like Feser-one. :) This one, however, is called LICS Vision-Fluid, can be also found as "Klax Destilliertes Wasser" if I'm not mistaken. ;). Nevertheless, I think Feser-one Acid Green UV might do the job as well.
Once again, thank you for the warm welcome. :)

Hello.
After a while I made same changes to my rig.
This is link to previous version: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2245407#post2245407
I added second graphic card NV 7950GT in SLI mode with Alphacool waterblock, then additional 2Gb of RAM with second RAM waterblock.
Now I have 10 blocks (7 homemade, 2 Alphacool GPUs, 1 Innovatek HDD) with 2 2x120 Radiators, 2 Laing waterpumps.
I also upgraded CPU to Athlon AM 6400 x2 (125Watt of heat to dissipate - previous produced only 65Watt)
Temperature : GPU 36* to 38* stress, Processor 40 to 48* during stress, NB 30*, Water 25*C. Wents are running at 2/3 of nominal speed . With two pumps running flowmeter showes 780 RPM on single punp just 520RPM.
Pictures now:
Before upgrade
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/Michalki/Insidemachinery.jpg
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/Michalki/Mainboardblocks.jpg
And after upgrade, to fill the space I added old Voltometer and Amperemeter and some light with UV cathodes

that's my ex MBO, p4c800:) had a mobile pent on it, watercooled...
what's the rest of the config?
it's what it looks like, a p4 prescott 3.2, the board no longer likes to be overclocked, used to run it at 4ghz. an x800xt clocked at something silly, and some old school original BH5 ram.
The watercooling was basically an experiement, i'm buying a new computer soon and want to go straight to water, so i thought i'd try it out, funnily enough the whole setup was less than£100, so just under $200

Why? Improve loop flow and get more air to flow through the radiator.
My new water system that i upgraded in december from a total ghetto one. Pics are form last month and its abit tidier now actually.(got rid of the yellow ide cable)

Thanks.
I had to top up the res a few times and bam, it was filled.
And as for bleeding, I ran the loop by itself by powering it with another computer.
So I was able to move the rad and cpu block around to bleed it. I left the cap of the res off and I'm pretty sure it took less than 5mins to bleed it.

haha lucky you!! I have an ekres250 and I have to make serious modifications to have it bleed successfully in that position, just because I have less restriction and higher flow rate so it keeps sucking in air bubbles.

I thought that I might get the tornado and have a hard time bleeding it.
Luckily, I can't even tell if the loop is running now that I've filled it all the way to the top.
What mods did you have to do?, for future reference,

Installed a Scythe variable speed Blue LED (the rear two are both
1400RPM Tt)
http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/6910/17scytheinstalledvb1.jpg
My funny little spot for the Scythe speed control. Didn't bother with the
bracket, I want all slot's open for when I put an Extraction fan there.
http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/6172/18scythespeedcontrolmoufp4.jpg
Made A custom little aluminium bracket to get some fast air across they SB
and the GFX heat sink, will soon add an extraction fan below the GFX
to assist this fan to get heat straight out of case and not circulating.
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/1643/1992mmfancustommounthe0.jpg
The scythe in action, much brighter than the Tt fans, alot faster also.

@ Disruptfam - Thanks mate, I though about a build log, but didnt want to start to many threads. Its not neat like yours, I seriously need to do something about that messy 3/8' tubing. Not sure what though.
@ ~aoe~ - Thanks. The Scythe blows the Tt out of the water, but I can't afford to replace the Tt ones, and they were already there to use. Theyre left overs from when I first got the case. Now have S-Flex on Rad.

Very nice build PilatuS...but I need to tell you that your FuZioN is on wrong (outlet should be above inlet)...and you have aluminum in your res. What fluid are you using?
I know that the CPU block is not mounted as it should but it doesn't matter. When you look at the copper plate desing you will see that only the intake matters and not the out take.
The only reason for mounting it like it should be is to get the air out easier. Getting the setup air free is not a problem. The reason i have it like this is for getting to the NB blok easier. If the out take of the CPU block would be as it should be getting to the NB block would be very difficult.
The aluminum in the res is also not a problem because i run with 50% cooling liquid for a car that protects againts corrosion. This PC is running for over 18 months without any problems. The copper of the old waterblock still looks perfect and so does the aluminum of the reservoir.

Go to a store where they sell car cooling liquid. That stuff comes in just about all the colors that you might want for watercooling. You can still add destilled water with it.
I run on 50% car cooling liquid wich is quite pink, the rest is water. I bought the stuff here in holland but i'm sure they sell it in russia too somewhere. Then just use clear tubing like Tygon or PVC.

I do think that they are to expencive for the amount of material used.

you might also have a problem fitting the front fan and the rad in the bottom.
Keeping the stock support brace where it was in my 1200, there was about a few millimeters on each side, so basically no room left. If you look back at my case, you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, you have to take into account how long your PSU is going to be.

My PSU is 15 centimeters long. So I don't think that is going to be a problem. I saw one person that have mounted the same radiator in his case, here in my home country. A MCR-220.
I am going to remove the front fang because I dont need it there anymore.

hi there! i was thinking about your set up and tried grabbing a pic of the lian li v11000 case and realised you might not have space for 2 video cards as the top card will be right next to the rad. could be wrong, but am looking at my tj07 and i think it would struggle!

Hehe, I am no neat freak thats for sure :)
Actually it was worse before, you should have seen it! Now at least the cables go behind the motherboard backplate and are out of the way for the most part. The main thing is that airflow is good, function over form for me!
What else could I do to improve it? The door opens at the front, so the tubing and fan cables to the rad need to be long enough to open and close without issue.
Plus I have a FireDTV DVB-C card, which trails the firewire and aerial cable across the case. It's not that bad is it?!:p: :D

Nashaz: I think your rig looks sweet. Like the colour of your water.
Regarding my build. Should i try to put the two radiators in one loop then? But then i would need a stronger pump, an MCP-655 should do it. But i'm worried about the space. It's fairly larger then the MCP-355 with Petras top. :)
What do you think? :)

thanks m8.. :)
as for your rig, i feel that mounting that many rads in a mid tower is abit too tight... just wondering, have u considered the pcA71b?... or are u more into a silent solution?...
It is still doable in my opinion, that that it will be really tough to get it up and maintain it...
but i think the mosfet blocks and the nb/sb blocks are not necessary... reduces tubing clutter and u can keep the current config and placement...

No bling, but with blue coolsleves ?
Meh, coolsleeves serve a purpose and Petra only sells the blue ones for 5/8" OD tubing (although they will likely come off now that I am fairly sure kinking is not an issue). Now if I had a bunch of UV cathodes spattered about that would be different. If anything is worthy of comment it is the crayola crayon color scheme (or lack thereof) on the GB mobo.

Nothing wrong with it, just not my speed that is all. Besides I made sure not to mix metals in my loop so the uber-additives would not be necessary. Once you loose the additives the cool factor of the UV fans and the like drops fast.

Otherwise why have a window on the side of a computer if theres nothing to wow. (Plus you cant see anything at night in the case without some lights)

If you already had the 8800 Ultra, I would have stayed with that. It still is better than the G92 8800GTS...

Before was a Zern PQ+ Nickel Ed. (zern.at) installed -> The EK Supreme is mounted since today , i can only tell ya about the idle cpu temps atm, its about 5° better, Waterflow is app. 30 Liters / h. better than with the Zern Waterblock.

I like some bling on a computer. I like when people see the lights coming off my computer and think its some sort of super computer. When its done in a tasteful manner such as rbs's build, I think it looks great.
Otherwise why have a window on the side of a computer if theres nothing to wow. (Plus you cant see anything at night in the case without some lights)
Just my opinion.
Heh, who said I had a window

i would hope so with that many blocks in there, or atleast a 120.3 with highflow fans and a good pump.
Imapwnu, I'm wondering how do those enzotech ramsinks work on the mosfets?? i was just thinking about doing the same thing.

Thanks. I've a Thermochill PA 120.3 mounted on the bottom of the case.
I have a B3 stepping Quadcore CPU running at 1,45V Vcore so the system gets quiet hot. CPU Core temperature heats up to about 70°C after 2 hours of Prime95. Andreoid did an awesome job with the Mips Freezer top. I love it :)
@Janno: Thx. That's a Silverstone TJ 07 case.

Thx mate :)
Yes,it's Tygon R3400 (3/8 ID 1/2 OD)
Fittings are D-Tek 3/8.The tube is really tight so I'm not using any clamps.
Well I can't make a straight comparison because I switched from MCR320 to PA120.3 and also I added maximus fusion block in the loop.

Nice job with the painting, the cables are also very neat !
Do you have a window mod to show it all off?
Meatpuppet

You may want to look into grabbing some blue pentosin to mix with the distilled. It accomplishes the same thing as the Hydrix you have in there now (I assume it is hydryx, or maybe just some standard antifreeze) and won't clash as badly. Just a thought.

Nice build mate. What kind of radiators are you using? It shure looks sweeeet. Almost as good as candy, only better. :)
Is that the Samsung 245BW? Or the 245T? :)
In my home country it got some bad reviews, but I think the image looks great.
Are you happy with your samsung? :)
