They are two seperate projects both aimed at doing research with proteins.
DF is going through a lot of troubles lately with how their servers are set up. I personally have switched back to F@H until DF gets their problems fixed.
In the almost year that I have been running F@H 24/7, I've had very few problems (most of the problems were from oc'ing too far).
If you have any more questions regarding F@H, I'll be happy to answer them for you. If you have any DF questions, post them in the DF forum and somebody will also be happy to answer them.
With either project, if your CPU supports hyper-threading and you have it enabled, you need to run 2 seperate instances of the client to maximize your output.
