I just found out that you're not suppose to use these dremel's cutt-off wheel for making curve holes.

"For slicing and cutting metal, wood and plastic. Cut-off wheels make it easy to cut or slot bolts, screws, sheet metal, thin wood and plastic. The cut-off wheel cuts only along its edge. Do not attempt to sand or cut curved holes with them."

-Dremel.com

Can anyone confirm this. Anyone here ever tried to make an 120mm hole with one of these babies? I thought the dremel was an all purpose tool and allows me to do anything like that.

as far as i'am aware u r supposed to do it with a multipurpose cutting bit... not the cut-off wheel...
from the manual... "start a bit into material at a 45 degree angle and thebn slowly bring it to 90 degree angle to begin the cut". u can use flexible shaft for it as it will be a lot easier to cut that hole...

good luck,

I've used them, but I got fed up with them breaking.. and bought a hole saw ;)

I have a DeWalt 12v drill (not mine but my dad's), should that be enough to drill holes with these things:

You mentioned that the multi-purpose cutting breaks a lot for you. What were you cutting?
