1/4 r22 or 1/5 r404?
I'm buying a condensing unit, with one would be better? One with compressor of 1/4hp with r22 or one of 1/5hp for r134a loaded with r404?
This is for a P4 2.8c that goes stable watercooled at 3.8ghz at 1.7V
both will fit i guess, but i will go for 1/4hp r22 and use r404a/r507

Yes, but then, I`ll need to change the oil and it`s not that easy to do.
I need to know what temperatures I will get with both compressors.
At least something approximate

Theres not much in it, are they both low temp ?
Look at the condition of them, wether they are low temp or not, your ability to get r22/404/507, your willingness to change the oil etc. and make a decision.

They are both low temp, I can get any freon, but the boiling point of r22 is higher than the other two.
I can get a condensing unit with a 1/4 r134/404 compressor, but I`m looking for the one that spends less current, be small and silent.
Just want to be at -30c with 160wats of load.

Well, some changes, now I have access to any gas I want, change oil, diferent compressors; etc.
I`m looking for one that spends less current, be small and silent.
And again, want to be at -30c with 160wats of load.
Any advice?
