I was looking at this: 12V Adler/Barbour Cold Machine (http://members.sparedollar.com/othmane/ADBRCU100.jpg) It has the Danfoss BD50F compressor.

How difficult would it be to fit a Baker evaporator to it, and could it use the quick disconnects that plug into the Cold Machine?

Extremely quiet running
Compressor is shrouded for maximum fan-forced cooling efficiency
Long-lasting stainless steel construction
Features make installation easy
Quick-disconnect couplings
Built-in troubleshooting diagnostics
Modular phone jack thermostat/electronics connections
Amp Draw: 4.5A-5.5A@12V DC while on
Amperage draw depends on evaporator style
Dimensions: 11.15L x 10W x 7.5H
Weight: 15.6 lb.

If you find the male ends for that setup you could fabricate an evaporator to utilize the feature, but i don't see much of an advantage to it since you shouldn't be taking it on/off of the system. Anytime you do, small amounts of gas will leak out. Why would you be taking it on and off anyway?
