I'm not a 100% sure on how the sense works, I assume that if the 3.3v rail drops 2 say 3.1v than the psu overvolts the rail 2 maintain the 3.3v?
I was wondering bout this mod: Keeping the 3.3V sense functioning as a sense wire. Using a pot connect the sense from the motherboard to 1 of the outer legs of a pot and the other outer leg to ground. Connect the sense wire from the psu 2 the middle leg of the pot.
Reasoning: the pot works as a voltage divider so u can lower the voltage or leave it as is coming from the motherboard. So it would work like the above mod but just add a bit of feedback, hopefully keeping the 3.3v rail a bit more stable.
Anyway just a thought...so yay or nay and why?
