Ok I got my shrarder valves and it appears I need some metal Tsplit like things to attach them? Its just a little thingeyw with a flare at the top. How does gas not leak out of them? How do I get them on the tube?
And where can I find a nice diagram telling me what all the numbers on the gauges mean? I'm confused... :p:
And which charging hose goes where?

You have to pay to read the gauges section :stick:

I looked at that but does it matter which hose I put on which part? Whats normally used?

the T justs splits the line in 3 so the shader value can go on
gas dosen't leak out because there is a gasket to hold it in
also rember to take the inside of the shader value out when brazing by it or u will melt thegasket and it will leak
i learned that the hard way:D

Thanks for the help with the shrarder :D I gota order my condensor anyways... I dont think I'm gona take the window AC apart just yet :p:
I was lookin at the hoses and red=high and blue=low seemed pretty logical and that leaves yellow for charging :p:
Than after a while my retarded self figured out the 4 sets of PSI readings were for R134a, R507, R404a, and just generic or something... But on the low side PSI reader thingey on the outer generic looking PSI thing it has 120 than he has 350 with "Retard" above it

If you posted some pictures , it would help.
I only know what a thingy is when I'm saying thingy. LOL
I know just how you feel. - lost - That's the way I feel most of the time.
Honestly, if you keep reading and studying Refrigeration Basics it will help.
You are going to need two service ports (schraders ) One on the high pressure side and one on the low pressure side. This is discussed in R.B.
On the compressor there should be three (maybe four) tubes coming out of it. The small tube is the high pressure(discharge) tube. The other two are low pressure service ports. On most compressors you can use either one to braze your schrader into. That way you don't need to worry about putting a T in the suction line. The other large service port coming out of the compressor is for the suction line which is tied to the evaporator.
A good place for the high pressure service port(schrader) would be right after the condenser unless you use a receiver. Then you can put the high pressure service port right after it.
Please correct me if needed.

I got a medium temp copeland compressor. Theres only the suction and discharge lines... No others. I was gona do high side before condensor and low side right before compressor on suction line.
