Hi,
My CPU is running @ 24°C @1,55VCORE non OC and the Evap shows -53°C what is wrong?
The Evap have very good contakt(4 x checked)
With my "old" CPU the Bios shows -12°C
Is the CPU defect?

My system:
AMD 3400+ CG(old 3400+ CO)
Shuttle AN50R no mods
Radeon 9800XT
512MB Cosair 3700( 1 stick)
Enermax 460W NT
Hitachi 80GB SATA

Next prob:
I have changed the Ram and he doesnt run over 200. With my old CPU he goes @245 1:1 @2,9Vdimm.
I have:
2 Twinmos Twister 4000 (245@2,9Vdimm)
2 Mushkin LV II 3500(235@2,9Vdimm)
and now 1x512 3700(200 @2,9Vdimm)
all tested rams doesnt run over 200 with the new CPU with my old CPU he runs with the settings above.
Is my CPU defect ??
Sorry for my bad english

I also had to redo my cpu install and play around with the washers ect before I got mine perfect with my second install. you say it is making contact but it sounds exactly like the problem i had. way i see it if the cpu was making proper contact then obviously your cpu would be less but also your evap would be more.

I agree. The wide temperature difference points directly to contact problems, or more specifically, it indicates lack of heat transfer between the CPU and the evaporator block. Also, make sure the evap is not mounted upside down.
