I have a mach 1 setup on my FX53 and what im tring to do is to get it to cool down to 0c or so before the computer itself powers up.
In the manual it talks about it but i cant seem to get it to work.
TIA.

I f you hook it up like the book says, the prommie evaporator should get down to -33 before the pc is energized.
I hook my prommie to a separate power supply and I don't even connect the wires from the prommie to the mobo. I turn the prommie on, and when it gets as cold as I want it to, I turn my pc on. ;)
mine has always booted strait up
i will check the wiring again but i know its right.

If you still have your manuel, look on page 16 - Chapter 4 At the bottom of page 16 it will tell you the PC is held idle untill the prommie reaches -33.
The way ive had it setup was , having the reset wire hooked up and the power molex. if i connect the power switch wire to the board (connected to the case wire) it powers down after being on for 5 secs. then i have to power down the PSU to get it to power on again.
i have flip flopped the wire around and still nothing but reboot after 5 secs.
And i have never had it hold the power up until -33c since ive owned it :(

If you have an extra power supply, don't hook the prommie to the mobo. Just plug the prommie 12v plug into a molex from the spare psu. You don't even need to worry about the reset or power wires. Hook the front panel wires to the mobo just like your mobo manuel says.
If you don't have your prommie manuel, and you want to hook the prommie up like the manuel says, I can type the instruction to you from the manuel
WE DID IT :p:
Thank you so much Ron. the damn wires are colored backwards.
the blue/white wire from the case connect to the gray/gray on the promme for the reset side.
and the gray/white from the case go to the blue/white from the promme.
Now i can run my rig overclocked 24/7 without worring about it hitting 60c on bootup
