How many minutes does your evap needs to make frost around it?
Just an estimate, because I still don`t have a good thermistor to measure the temp / time average...
My evap. needs 6 minutes to get cold enough to burn my finger if I stick it for 4 secs...
I think it`s not good enough, but I would like to hear your opinions, maybe I have a too long cap. tube
Bye!

On a prommie block with the 507 mod frost in 1 to 1.5 min. With a baker block mod frost is 1.5 to 2 min. On the Modded prommie mach1 alarm in under 5 min (-45C) on the baker block modded mach 1 -50C in 6 min. It does vary a little depending on Ambient.

Shouldn't it vary a lot though? especcialy with changing levels of water in the air (humidity)..

Yes it does vary from its currently 1 min to alarm on the mach one with 15% hunmidity and 70 ambient to worst case 7 min at 80% humidity and 90 degF ambient, Modded mach I regular block And more time with the baker block, that is due to the mass of the block and the time it takes to cool the extra metal, also the Baker will get a little colder sue the the internal design.
