I just completed my Athlon FX 53 review.
If you want to read it go here - review (http://www.gurureview.co.uk/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=186)
Cheers
you used the exact same CPU that I used for my review.... I got it upto 2.6Ghz with 1.7v IIRC, but I didn't find the heat a problem :)

I must say that you've got rather a lot of game benchmarks. Also I noticed on page 4, you've got the following - "nVidia Detonator 56.72 for GeForce FX 5950 Ultra"
yet on page 3 you said that you used a 9800XT in both the FX-53 and Athlon XP system.
I found some interesting results in sciencemark, which would have been a nice addition to the review. Also, you mentioned about overclocking, but did not mention how well the Athlon FX scaled when overclocked, it would have been an interesting comparison. I noticed a "pulse" where there was an *abnormal* performance increase at 13x200, 2.6Ghz, but not at 12x216... after speaking with AMD quite heavily at CTS2004 apparently the BIG performance increases are when the CPU speed is divisible by 400 (or more importantly the DDR memory speed - HTTx2)
Apart from that, it looks like quite a hefty scrutinization :D

LOL yes, it said "From Bit-Tech" on the box :D
As for the GFX cards. I used my 9800XT in both systems when using 32bitWinXP. The GFFX5950 was used in 64bitWinXP.
Who did you speak to at CS2004? I met Dave Everitt and Chris Gibson(Corsair), was going to meet Theresa Zimmer(AMD) too, but she got held up in Traffic :(
BTW, I like your site :) And hey, you must live less than 20 miles from me!
