I'm sure this has been asked many times, but I'm returning back to AMD XP after a going around the block.

Basically, I'm intrigued by these XP-M's and their solid performance in gaming applications, and their general ease of selling if need be.

I've read a few posts, and it seems to be either the DFI Infinty Ultra 2 or the Abit NF7/-S v2.0

Also I notice its either XP-M 2400/2500 or 2600.

I will be using these other parts with the system.

WD Raptor 36.4gb (Windows)
2x160GB HDDS 8mb cache (Samsung/Hitashi)
DVD-ROM/CD-RW
Powercolor 9800PRO
2x256mb OCZ PC3500 Ltd Ed BH5
Audigy 2
CM 201
Vantec ION 400W (Fortron Source I think)

Basically, what do you guys think?

I've noticed some XP-M's at a uk retailer,

2400 stepping - Current Steppng AXMH2400FQQ4C / AQYFA0343WPMW

2500 stepping - Current stepping AXMH2500FQQ4C / IQYHA0408RPMW

2600 stepping - Current stepping AXMG2600FQQ4C / IQYHA0348XPMW

which is the best here?

The steppings starting with "I" are going to be the best overclockers. Other than that Im not sure if the different model gets a better oc or not. Does anyone recommend which cpu if they all start with "I"?

for the mobo, definetly get the infinity over the NF7
