hag6br,

Thats good stuff.

When you say "waterchilled" are you talking about the memory being cooled?

Holy sh*t, that has got to be one of the highest 1:1 oc's I've ever seen. If you have BH-5 could you possibly do some 5:4 benches with it and see how it compares to this 1:1 oc? It would be interesting to see how much the P4 platform really benefits from raw bandwidth...

I Don't have any Decent BH-5 to use, But My OCZ PC3200 Plat LE (BH-6) will do 254 1:1 @ 2-2-2-5 settings and the same Voltage..

Also, at 5:4, it hit the same FSB...

316 FSB is about the Max the Cpu will do, So both may go even Higher...

Lets see 2xadata on a P4c800E running the same timings you are...I have run OCZ4400beta at 3-4-3-8 on A64 with one module at 280+ with ease...

dual channel is hard on dimms....

04-14-2004, 10:03 AM
andyddr your running single channel ?

andyddr
04-14-2004, 10:07 AM
Yeah it`s on an AMD A64 board. Can run two sticks together @ 288FSB but that`s not in Dual Channel mode. Must also say that this is only @ 2.9v

andyddr
04-14-2004, 10:15 AM
Here`s another shot of the mem at 3-4-4-7 at 315FSB (also 2.9v)

A64 boards clock the ram easier than i875....

Lets see some dual channel action

andyddr
04-14-2004, 12:03 PM
Yip looks like it. And @ half the price I`d also be a bit worried about A-Data. But still OCZ is some of the best mem in the world let`s face it. I for one would rather be showing off some shinny OCZ than A-Data in my system. PM me and I`ll send you my address you can ship to as a beta tester for you guys hehe.

I did not notice you were using a Athlon 64 board

Thats damned good , how do you get pass the pci lock problems ?

andyddr
04-14-2004, 12:50 PM
Not fully convinced that PCI is locked on the K8NPRO. Using ClockGen I`ve hit 325FSB by divinding the mem and lowering HTT. I`ll do s creenshot a bit later for u all.

I was running a 9800XT and had the same problem getting it stable over 300 FSB...

I threw in a 9000 Pro I had, and it took off...

I have yet to get memory for my A64 so which should I get? PC3200 and go for tight timmings low fsb or high fsb with some PC4200?

Is the K8N-Pro easy to work with, when going for high FSB?

Thanks

andyddr
04-15-2004, 05:28 AM
Nice one Macci. 10 steps ahead of everyone else as usual
What timings you running LDT at?

macci
04-15-2004, 05:41 AM
2x mode for LDT

andyddr
04-15-2004, 05:46 AM
722 HTT. That`s pretty good stuff. Have you added any voltage to LDT? I`ve found that adding v makes the system unstable (freeze).

macci
04-15-2004, 06:14 AM
LDT voltage is at the max the BIOS allows.

I was able to get to 2750 Mhz with the A64 with my OCZ PC3200 and 5:4.. Also cooled with my Mach I..

I have not yet played with the Multipliers yet to see how high I can get the FSB...
